B.A./B.Th. Ministry Leadership
Overview
This program includes 100+ hours of ministry formation experience plus an 8-month internship, setting students up for ministry in or outside of the church. Those wishing to graduate with the B.Th. designation must additionally complete two courses in biblical languages (Hebrew I or Greek I, and Hebrew 2 or Greek 2).
Duration: 32 months*
*Month duration is estimated on average full-time completion rates of 10 courses per 8-month period. Actual completion rates vary based on individual student course loads.

Bi-Vocational Customizable Programming (3+1 and 2+2 options)
Horizon’s 3+1, and 2+2 programming allows students to CUSTOMIZE their Christian studies or ministry preparation with approved training from a variety of educational institutions. The 3+1 Option requires 34 credits. The 2+2 Option requires 31 credits. See the Program Sheets below for information on the required courses.
Please note: Plus+ programs are not available to international students. Applicants must have citizenship or permanent residency.

The courses in this program can be scheduled in different ways. Above is an example of what this program could look like.
1 ISP (Integrative Seminar with Portfolio) should be done: 1. as close to the end of the degree as possible OR 2. as close to internship as possible. Biblical Communication is done in conjunction with internship. Preaching & Public Speaking (formerly Homiletics) should be taken prior to internship but could be taken in conjunction with internship with permission from the registrar office.
