B.A./B.Th. Children’s Ministry

Overview

The Children’s Ministry focus combines 16 months of Horizon’s Pastoral Leadership program with a 2-year Early Childhood Education Diploma program from Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Graduates of this program are eligible to apply to become a licensed Level III Early Childhood Educator – a necessary credential for directing a child care centre.

Students graduate with both a B.A. from Horizon and a Diploma from Sask Polytechnic, opening the doors to either professional ministry or service in the public sector. Those wishing to graduate with the B.Th. designation must additionally complete two courses in biblical languages (Hebrew 1 and 2 or Greek 1 and 2).
