*If student registration is high, some students may serve in an alternate international location.

Duration: 8 months*

*Month duration is estimated on average full-time completion rates of 10 courses per 8-month period. Actual completion rates vary based on individual student course loads.

Assignment Orientation is a week filled with spiritual formation, team building, and mission training. Your four-week international ministry assignment includes intercessory prayer, creative outreach, and compassion initiatives. Debrief allows you to rest, worship, and reflect on your experiences. This allows you to process your global mission experience as you prepare to reengage in mission back home.
Multiply was formerly known as MB Mission. Still based in the Mennonite Brethren family, Multiply is focused on making disciples, planting churches and growing partnerships. For more information see multiply.net/about.

Yes! Any student at Horizon can raise funds to reduce their program costs. Excluding parents, grandparents, or spouses, those who donate toward your account at Horizon will receive a tax receipt for their donation. Also, any Horizon students may choose to transfer their Tuition and Education (T2202A) tax credit to either a parent or grandparent or spouse who may then receive income tax credit for support they provide to a student.

Last year, the total cost of the program was $10,535 (including $6,575 for tuition and fees, plus $3960 for ACTION, the ministry assignment part of the program).

Fees for this year are still being determined and will be posted as soon as possible.

Your program costs (paid to Horizon) cover all courses on campus at Horizon, training and debrief for your international ministry assignment, as well as your international travel, lodging, food, and ministry activities while on assignment.

Horizon’s program costs do not cover accommodations while studying on campus in Saskatoon. In addition to your program costs, you will be responsible to cover the following expenses: Passport, Travel Visa (only if necessary*), Vaccinations, Travel Health Insurance, and Personal Expenses.

*A visa is not required for the ministry assignment in Thailand.
