B.A./B.Th. Youth Ministry
Overview
In partnership with The YWC Coalition for Youth Ministry Leadership and Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Horizon offers two paths to complete this degree, giving students flexibility in their training to become holistically equipped for youth ministry.
The YWC Coalition option combines 16 months of studies at Horizon with the 2-year YWC Coalition for Youth Ministry Leadership Program.
The second option is to study with Sask Polytech. This combines 24 months of Horizon’s Pastoral Leadership program (includes 4-month internship) with a 1-year Child & Youth Care Worker’s Certificate from Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Students graduate with both a B.A. from Horizon and a Certificate from Sask Polytech, opening the doors to either professional ministry or service in the public sector.

*Month duration is estimated on average full-time completion rates of 10 courses per 8-month period. Actual completion rates vary based on individual student course loads.
Please note: Plus+ programs are not available to international students. Applicants must have citizenship or permanent residency.

This Horizon Plus+ degree program is available in partnership with The YWC Coalition for Youth Ministry Leadership or Saskatchewan Polytechnic, or you may use similar studies from another educational institution to fulfill Horizon’s degree requirements. Ask us how.
Acceptance into Horizon’s Plus+ degree program does not guarantee acceptance into The YWC Coalition for Youth Ministry Leadership or a Saskatchewan Polytechnic program.
Horizon Plus+ requirements must be met within 5 years of the completion of the Horizon portion of studies.
