Fall Orientation

The countdown is on!

This September, we’ll be welcoming new and returning students for Fall Orientation 2026—an exciting opportunity to begin the academic year together, build community, and prepare for the journey ahead.

🗓 Wednesday & Thursday, September 2-3, 2026

Fall Orientation is a required part of the student experience, designed to help students feel prepared, connected, and ready for the semester ahead. New students will meet faculty and staff, connect with classmates, learn about student life, and discover the resources available to help them succeed.

Returning students will receive important updates for the upcoming academic year while reconnecting with friends and helping welcome new students into the community.

If you’re planning to study at Horizon this fall, be sure to reserve your spot as soon as possible. Every student must register for their preferred Orientation option—in person, livestream, or online.

Registration Deadline: August 17

This year’s in-person Orientation takes place September 2–3 at both our Saskatoon and Mississauga campuses, at 9:30 am CST in Saskatoon, and 10:30 am EST in Mississauga.

More than an information session, Orientation is designed to be a retreat-like experience filled with meaningful conversations, times of spiritual encouragement, great meals, and opportunities to experience campus life firsthand.

There are some travel and accommodation options available for students. Contact Eldon before August 17.

We know that travelling isn’t possible for everyone. Students also have the option to participate by livestream or complete Orientation online through Populi before classes begin.

Seminary students will complete a seminary-specific online orientation, while college students who cannot attend in person will have access to a comprehensive online version beginning in mid-August.

We can’t wait to see familiar faces, meet new students, and begin another year of preparing competent Christian leaders with the church, for the church.
