Carmen is an Assistant Professor and Soulhood Practitioner. She worked at Horizon from 2013-2019, took a five-year leave to complete a Doctorate of Ministry, and returned to a full-time position at Horizon in August 2024, after ending her professional chapter as a Spiritual Care Practitioner. Carmen is a proud Horizon alumna and a fervent supporter and advocate for Horizon’s mission and women in ministry. Her passion lies in creating contemplative spaces where individuals can listen, learn, and become more aware of the movements of God.
Carmen is married and has a loving family, including six adult children, two fantastic son-in-laws, and two cherished grandchildren. She and her husband live on their dairy farm located northwest of Saskatoon, cherishing the life and connections they have built there.
