Tony Martens is Lead Pastor at Dalmeny Community Church, where he has served since 2016. Passionate about developing leaders and strengthening the church, he describes himself as “a coach who happens to pastor.”
Tony holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan and a Master of Divinity from Briercrest Biblical Seminary. Ordained in 2006, he has served in pastoral leadership across Saskatchewan and in provincial conference leadership, including as Moderator and Executive Board member for SKMB.
Known for his strengths in coaching, mentoring, and organizational leadership, Tony spent 27 years coaching high school boys basketball before retiring from coaching in 2025. His interests include collaborative leadership, spiritual formation, and helping others grow in their faith and calling.
Tony and his wife, Michelle, have two adult children and a daughter-in-law. He continues to invest in mentoring young adults while pursuing his lifelong passion for teaching, leadership, and the local church.
