Courses taught: Assessment in Counselling

Benjamin Schulz is teaching his first course at Horizon this winter, 2026. Benjamin works full- time as a crisis clinician with Fraser Health Authority, START program, in Tri-cities Metro Vancouver. He also runs a private counselling practice in Langley, BC, where he works with adolescents and adults. Benjamin is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), and a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

Benjamin practices counselling and psychology that is Christ-centered. He is passionate about his work and the opportunity to be used as God’s instrument to foster client healing from mental health concerns. Benjamin lives in Langley, BC, with his wife Vivi, and his two daughters Eliana and Tali.
