Benjamin Schulz, PhD, CCC, is an adjunct faculty member at Horizon College & Seminary, where he teaches counselling courses in assessment and human development. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience, he helps students connect theory with compassionate practice.
His background includes assessment with MCFD Child and Youth Mental Health and youth crisis work in Fraser Health’s START program. He leads Benjamin Schulz Counselling Inc., supporting adolescents, adults, men, and couples with OCD, anxiety, trauma, and relationship concerns. A Canadian Certified Counsellor and Registered Provisional Psychologist in Alberta, his Christ-centred approach integrates Christian faith with evidence-based practice and encourages students to develop sound judgment, curiosity, and care for the whole person.
