Marvin has been in ministry since 1979 and has served three churches in a variety of roles. Along with pastoral ministry he has served on both the District Executive (SK PAOC) and at the General Executive of the PAOC and has served on various ministry and missions agency boards. He serves in Bible College settings at Horizon College and overseas, primarily teaching and training on the subjects of leadership and the pastoral role. In 2024, Marvin transitioned out of the Lead Pastor role at Elim Church in Saskatoon where he served for 34 years. He is currently serving as the Chaplain with Elim Lodge and as the Care and Wellness Coordinator for a Saskatoon business.
Marvin is married to Sharlaine and together they have three adult daughters and five grandchildren.
