Living on Campus

Living on campus is a great way to build community and relationships with other students. We have various activities that help keep our community tight-knit, which range from weekly dorm meetings and social events, to spontaneous hang out times. Our residence is reserved for Horizon College & Seminary students and Christian residents of a college age.

The college is locked after hours and our student residence is secured with swipe card access. The residence is attached to the college, furnished with beds, dressers, desks, chairs, bookshelves, and closet space. Each resident has access to wi-fi, coin-operated laundry facilities, a prayer chapel, and a lounge with a TV and sofas. The majority of the rooms are single occupancy with a limited number of rooms available for double occupancy. Students prepare their own meals in a community kitchen and receive individual fridge and freezer units to store food.

Some other perks of living on campus are: access to a community kitchen, being steps away from a grocery store, easy access to the library, chapel, student life centre, work out room, and getting to class on time. Our residence is also close to major bus routes, shopping, restaurants, and a medical clinic, all within walking distance.
