Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership

Overview
The Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership prepares competent Christian leaders for church, lay ministry, and other workplace roles by combining graduate-level leadership training, biblical and theological studies, and specialized ministry apprenticeships.
Contextual Learning
In addition to specialized course work, students in this program will have the opportunity to work closely with expert leaders in ministry contexts tailored to their specific vocational interests and needs.
Total Credits Required: 48
The 48 credit-hour program focuses on three aspects of ministry leadership:
- Leadership training – development of skills in leadership and administration
- Biblical and theological literacy – provision of the biblical and theological framework for effective ministry leadership
- Practical ministry and/or specialized areas of study – focus on practical ministry apprenticeships or specialized courses, which enable leaders to hone their knowledge and skills in a specific area.
