COVID Restriction Changes at Horizon

At a recent press conference, premiere Scott Moe announced an end to the provincial requirement to provide proof of vaccination for businesses, workplaces, and other public venues effective February 14, 2022. Additionally, Moe indicated that all remaining public health orders will also end as of February 28, 2022. These include mandatory masks and isolation following a positive COVID-19 test. What does this mean for Horizon? Horizon's approach to COVID restrictions has been to comply exactly with Saskatchewan provincial public health orders. That is what we will continue to do. Classes Resume January 11

Following the adjusted campus activity announced in November, on-site classes will resume at Jackson Avenue beginning January 11, 2021 with one exception: Coaching to Empower Others for Strategic Growth (P328) with Dr. Dale Dirksen will be held online to accommodate the necessary classroom interactivity in a way that maintains COVID safety protocols. Onsite classes will shift to 604 Webster Street starting January 18, 2021.

ADJUSTED CAMPUS ACTIVITY IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19Effective this Monday, November 30, we ARE temporarily moving classes online for the rest of this semester in anticipation of a return to onsite classes after Christmas.This means classes will NOT be hosted in the classrooms for the remainder of 2020. SPECIAL UPDATE - June 30, 2020 We are pleased to announce that today we received the necessary protocols and guidelines that will enable us to host classes onsite this fall. We are completing our safety plan to ensure all students and staff are safe onsite, and we are also offering all of our courses as an online option as well.
