The Bible is highly significant, and so is our understanding of it.
Instructed by Dr. Jeromey Martini, this course will empower you to interpret the Bible faithfully and relevantly. You will be challenged to grow in Christ-like character as you apply the Bible to your life and as you model healthy social interaction. You will also be equipped to share exegesis of the Bible – a foundational ability for Christian ministry.

This course introduces students to the Bible’s historical composition, canonization, and translation into English, and provides students the foundational framework for interpreting, understanding, and applying the Bible today.

For Audit
Although Horizon offers this class for credit, anyone interested in learning about Bible study methods is welcome to join as an auditor.
Auditors do not complete the formal homework for the course and pay only a fraction of the fees ($100.00 audit fee for the entire course; some reading and preparation for the course is required). Contact Keldy Regier to request the auditing application (kregier@horizon.edu).
