Todd joins the Horizon faculty through the partnership between Horizon and MCS. Todd has served at MCS since 2024.

Todd has been a pastor for more than thirty-seven years, serving as lead in Sudbury, Barrie, Essex, Cambridge and as a staff pastor in Sarnia. He has been an adjunct professor in the Master of Divinity program at Tyndale Seminary. He is a skilled pastoral practitioner with a time-tested specialty in bringing stability, restoration and vitality to the local church context. He brings practical and pragmatic experience coupled with academic research that is focused on missionally-motivated ecclesiology.
Todd is married to Ruth and has three adult children, two of which are married and have given them four grandchildren. Todd enjoys good coffee, working, reading, and physical fitness. Todd has travelled to various parts of the world and has been to Israel eight times.
Coming back to MCS has brought Todd full circle. He is reminded of T.S Eliot’s words, “We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.” Little Gidding – Four quartets.
