Kelvin has spent thirty years in teaching Old Testament studies, while remaining active in the local church doing interim pastoral work. He has authored a book on Jeremiah and Ezekiel, and published numerous articles on various OT books. Prior to his graduate studies, he spent eight years in full-time ministry in Wisconsin with the Wesleyan Church. He taught at Canadian Theological Seminary (C&MA) in Regina (now Ambrose University in Calgary) for eleven years, and another six years at Houghton College (Wesleyan church) in western New York state. Returning to Regina seven years ago, he has done interim pastoral work at a couple of Alliance churches, as well as adjunct teaching at Briercrest College and Seminary. His passion is teaching the Old Testament, and such has led him to do short-term teaching in the Philippines, Jamaica, Lebanon, Hong Kong, Nicaragua, and Estonia. His wife, Margaret, works at the University of Regina, and he has two grown children with families living in Regina and Saskatoon.
