  Pastor Blaine Eagle

B.Mus., University of Calgary

  Dr. Peter G. Engle is the Dean of Education at Living Faith Bible College in Caroline AB, an office he has held for a total of over 8 years. He is an ordained minister with the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies of Canada. He is also an Adjunct Faculty member at Briercrest Seminary, as well as Horizon College. He has a B.A. from Central Wash. University, an M.Div. from Asbury Seminary, and a Ph.D. from Westminster Seminary, and has been in the teaching ministry/college administration for over 30 years, in the US, in Canada and overseas. His wife Cyndey has a Seminary Certificate from Briercrest Seminary, and they have 4 grown children who are all well established in their careers, and the three sons well connected to a vibrant church in Seattle.
     
  Dr. David Puls

  Dr. David Puls received his B. Mus. degree from the School of Music at the University of Manitoba, B.Th. From Central Pentecostal College in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (now known as Horizon College and Seminary) and his doctoral degree from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies in Orange Park, Florida. He has been in ministry in Saskatchewan and Alberta for more than twenty-four years and is presently a member of the adjunct sessional faculty in the areas of worship studies and spiritual formation. He and his wife Heather have two teen-age daughters who love the Lord.
     
  Rev. Dean Heidt

History, Theology

M.A., Briercrest Seminary;
B.Th., Central Pentecostal College

  Dean received his B.Th. from Central Pentecostal College and his M.A. in Historical Theology at Briercrest Seminary. He has been involved in the ministry as a solo Pastor in Debden, SK as well as an Assistant/Youth Pastor in Carman, MB. Dean has been a sessional lecturer at Horizon since 2001 and currently works at Matrix Video Communications Corp. (Rentals, Media & Religious Sales). He is married to Jennifer and has 2 boys, Nathan and Bryston.
     
  Prof. Wes Froese

Music/Worship

B.Mus., University of Saskatchewan

 

  Wes Froese hails from Swift Current, Saskatchewan; he began his musical studies there. In university he studied with Bill Moore in Regina and Robin Harrison in Saskatoon.
From 1991 - 2000 Wes was Director of Music at Horizon College and continues as a sessional lecturer.
A writer in many genres, Wes’s keyboard compositions can be found in the 2005 From Prairie to Pine, as well as the soon-to-be -published Northern Lights Level 5B - Musical Discoveries CNCM collection, and his own “Piano Music for Hockey Players.” He is also the author of the CD/Book projects Starting With Blues: Volumes 1 & 2, a method to introduce chart playing and improvisation to piano students.
Wes is available for music team coaching and specialized workshops, as well as for speaking and teaching engagements. He was a breakout speaker at this spring’s U of S Leadership Conference, offering the workshop Giving Voice to the Leader in You; teaching the principles of leadership to business leaders through the experience of singing in a choir.
Since 1995 Wes has offered the Contemporary Keyboard Workshop in Saskatoon. In the summer of 2010 Wes will be taking the Contemporary Keyboard Workshop for Worship Music to various locales in Saskatchewan. More info available at www.froesemusic.com

  Jason Picture Jason Vanbinsburgen
 
  Jason has been a youth pastor for 15 years and currently is the Pastor of Student Ministries at Lakeview Church in Saskatoon. He is also on the CORE teaching team for Youth Specialties Canada. Jason has both a B.A. and M.A. in Youth Ministry from Briercrest. He is a popular youth speaker who has spoken at many camps, retreats and conferences both here and in the U.S. Jason has been married for 16 years and has two boys who keep him and his wife pretty busy.
 
 
    Bee Jay Carter
  Bee Jay received her undergraduate degree in Psychology (Honours) and Master of Education (Counselling Psychology) at the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to the completion of her Masters degree, Bee Jay served as a missionary with Youth With A Mission in Sarajevo, Bosnia for five years. During this time, she led Discipleship Training Schools and outreach teams to nations in the Former Yugoslavia and the Middle East. She also served as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Sarajevo. Currently, Bee Jay is the Executive Director of Christian Counselling Services in Saskatoon and is a Registered Psychologist (Provisional).
     
    Andrew Gabriel
  Pastor Andrew Gabriel has served for five years as an adjunct professor with Emmanuel Bible College and has also taught for Tyndale Seminary and McMaster Divinity College. In addition, he serves as the Assistant Pastor at Peoples Church in Hamilton, Ontario. Andrew received his B.Th. at Master’s College and Seminary (formerly EPBC) and completed his M.A. at McMaster Divinity College, where he is now a Ph.D. candidate. Andrew has published articles in theology, the NT, and ethics, and is currently writing a book on “Popular Pentecostal and Charismatic Thinking.” He, his wife, and their two darling daughters live in Hamilton, Ontario.
