The Pentecostal Studies
Track of the Master of Divinity program
includes 32 courses for 93 credit hours.
Providence Theological Seminary offers the
foundational M.Div. curriculum (22 courses
for 66 hours) and Horizon Pentecostal
Seminary offers the
Pentecostal distinctive courses and
supervised ministry experience (10 courses
for 27 hours).

Students who graduate from the Pentecostal
Studies Track will receive the Master of
Divinity degree from Providence and a
Diploma in Theology from Horizon. This
diploma will qualify the graduate to apply
to The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada for
ministerial credentials leading towards
ordination.

* Students entering with one
language must select two courses in Bible in
the second or third year. Students who pass
the Biblical Foundations Entry Exam must
take two biblical studies electives in place
of OT5201 and NT5201.
** Students with a strong
undergraduate background in Theology may,
with the approval of the Department Chair,
substitute advanced courses for Theological
Foundations 1.
*** PS5502 must be taken in
the first year. PS6501 must be taken in the
second year.
