We are responding to the needs of our
shifting demographics. There is an
increasing number of “baby boomers” who are
approaching retirement. They have much to
offer God and are willing to dedicate
themselves to some area of local ministry or
foreign missions. These boomers have good
health and financial security, but require
formal ministry training.
The EDGE program combines a cross-section of
courses in order to EDucate a mature
GEneration for ministry. The mixture of
theology, history, preaching, and Bible
study training meets the educational
requirements for a Recognition of Ministry
Credential from the Pentecostal Assemblies
of Canada. Now combine your new ministry
training with your life’s vocational
experience to become an effective tool for
God. Doors could open for you to minister
virtually anywhere in the world. |

Grounded in the basics of
spiritual formation;
Growing through academic and
discipleship training;
Going to serve at the ends of
the earth
Talk about having the best of both worlds!
We are excited about partnering with Youth
With A Mission (YWAM), the preeminent
short-term missions training organization in
the world.
In the fall semester, our innovative
missions training course combines morning
sessions of academic training from college
professors, with afternoon discipleship and
missions preparation from YWAM staff.
Then, come back after Christmas and plug
into the YWAM world-wide missions
infrastructure. You will head off for an
exciting 2-3 month missions service program.
Where in the world will you go? You will
actually have a say in where your group of
trainees ministers. What an opportunity!
What if you feel God’s call to go into
long-term missions ministry? You can return
here and plug into one of our CORE programs
of ministry training. You will be able to
apply up to 21 credit hours from your Global
Missions Force
year towards your continuing CORE program.
Note**This program was formerly called the
G3 program (same program just a different
name).
