Sonia feels blessed that she has the privilege and opportunity to walk with students and impact their lives during their time at Horizon. She connects with them throughout the day whether it be during chapel, in the hallway, in life groups, or in her office. For Sonia, it is always life-giving to get to know the students and to see how God is working in their lives. She delights in watching how they are being stretched and molded here at Horizon.
When Sonia is not at Horizon, she loves spending time with her husband, Rylan, as well as her family and friends. One of Sonia’s favorite things to do in Saskatoon is to take long walks near the South Saskatchewan River and enjoy the beauty of God’s creativity in nature. Music is one of Sonia’s most treasured delights, whether she plays music or listens to it.

Russ maintains the facilities and communicates with the students, faculty, and staff about maintenance concerns. He is the contact person for other contractors that are brought in to address maintenance issues. He grew up on the farm, so fixing things has always been part of his life. Russ has worked in automotive maintenance and his wife jokes about their addiction to home renovations.

Russ and Angela pastored in Davidson for four years before Russ took on his current role at Horizon.
