Rob Lindemann

Rob Lindemann

Vice President Academics | Academic Dean | Registrar

Ed.D., George Fox University; M.A. in Educational Leadership, Briercrest Seminary; B.R.E., Northwest Bible College (Vanguard)

Ministerial Credentials: Ordained by the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada

Teaching Areas: Rob has taught in the areas of leadership, teaching, pastoral ministry, and related general studies.

Rob lives in the small city of Martensville. He and his wife, along with two children, moved here in 2012 when he took a pastoral position in Saskatoon. Rob served for a year and half in that role before accepting the position of VP of Academics at Horizon College & Seminary. He has lived on the prairies his whole life but is open to the call of God to take him to Hawaii anytime! The past 20 years of Rob’s life have been spent in church ministry and Bible college teaching/administration roles. He is grateful for these varied experiences—especially this opportunity to serve the students at Horizon.

A favourite quote that captures Rob’s love for education comes from George R. Knight: “Since the function of Christian education is one of reconciliation and restoring the balanced image of God in students, education must be seen primarily as a redemptive act. And if education is viewed in that manner, then the role of the teacher is ministerial and pastoral in the sense that the teacher is an agent of reconciliation” (Philosophy and Education: An Introduction in Christian Perspective, 2006, pp. 210-211).
