"During the summer of 2009 my husband and I just made the decision that we were going to make a big commitment to drive our six children to Saskatoon Christian School for their education, a trip that would mean about 3 hours a day on the road. During this decision making process I was introduced to Horizon by a way of an insert in our church bulletin. The insert stated that you could audit a bible course for $100.00. I felt a dream reawakening within me that I laid down about 9 years before, suddenly there was an opportunity to also be in school while my kids were now in school full time. I remember during church elbowing my husband and showing him the card. Together we both felt this was a great opportunity for me. 

 

I was greeted very warmly at Horizon and spent time exploring options with the Academic Dean. In the end I decided to do my courses for credit as I felt the Lord leading me in that direction. I have now completed my Certificate in Christian Studies and have decided to pursue Bachelors with a focus on Biblical Studies here at Horizon."   - Carmen Kampman
