Horizon College & Seminary

Our goal and focus at Horizon is to prepare leaders for Christian life and ministry, whether that ministry be volunteer or professional. We aim to make our students better and more reflective thinkers about God and about Christian responsibility in our world. We aim to equip our students to be skilled practitioners of the Christian faith, ready for hands-on ministry in the local church and other settings. Whether you're preparing for professional ministry or are planning to transfer classes to the University of Saskatchewan or to go on to another vocation, it's essential to us that each student at Horizon more intimately develops her or his personal relationship with God. More specifically, though, our aim is to prepare you to live out that relationship concretely, practicing real-life, hands-on Christianity.

It's Tuesday, which means it's time for another edition of Horizon Stories. This week we are featuring Ashley, a recent graduate and seminary student from Langham, SK.

We are so excited to share the stories and experiences of our students with you. We want you to be able to see exactly who you are supporting when you invest time and resources into our college. If you'd like to hear more about how God is working in our college and community, join us for an evening of food, friends, and entertainment at the Berry Barn in Saskatoon on June 13th.

Any of you avid gardeners out there have extra plants lying around that you would like to get rid of?

We are hoping to give the college just a little more curb appeal this summer, so we are looking for donations of plants and flowers for our front garden. If you have some lying around or if you are interested in making a donation, give us a call at 306.374.6655 or email us at info@horizon.edu to find out exactly what we need!

Thank you, we appreciate it.

It's been awhile but it's time for another Horizon Story. This week we are featuring Vicente, a student from Mississauga, Ontario.
