Horizon College & Seminary

Our goal and focus at Horizon is to prepare leaders for Christian life and ministry, whether that ministry be volunteer or professional. We aim to make our students better and more reflective thinkers about God and about Christian responsibility in our world. We aim to equip our students to be skilled practitioners of the Christian faith, ready for hands-on ministry in the local church and other settings. Whether you're preparing for professional ministry or are planning to transfer classes to the University of Saskatchewan or to go on to another vocation, it's essential to us that each student at Horizon more intimately develops her or his personal relationship with God. More specifically, though, our aim is to prepare you to live out that relationship concretely, practicing real-life, hands-on Christianity.

This is the Facebook status of one of our upper level students from last night. This is a perfect example of one of the many reasons we get up and come to work in the morning. We LOVE to see God at work in the lives of our students and we feel incredibly privileged to be a part of it.

Today we prayed for our entire students council and heard from Horizon's Student Council President, Courtney. We journeyed together through 1 Cor. 13: 1-10 and made a list of what love is and is not. (Apparently Courtney likes lists!) #loveneverfails #horizoncollegesk

It’s mod week here at Horizon. We have the pleasure of having Dr. Chris Lortie teach Pentateuch.

“I’m surrounded by great friends and wonderful staff…my new family! I can’t wait to come back next year!”
