What makes Horizon different?

Horizon College & Seminary is dedicated to preparing competent Christian leaders. Located in Saskatoon, one of Canada’s fastest growing cities, Horizon offers degree programs in Pastoral Leadership and Christian Studies. More than 78% of our graduates are serving in a ministry position.

Horizon is one of the first evangelical schools to offer a Competency-Based Education model. This forward-thinking model provides our students with an innovative and practical education that prepares them to impact the Kingdom as highly-sought-after and effective leaders in the church.

Horizon College & Seminary

Our goal and focus at Horizon is to prepare leaders for Christian life and ministry, whether that ministry be volunteer or professional. We aim to make our students better and more reflective thinkers about God and about Christian responsibility in our world. We aim to equip our students to be skilled practitioners of the Christian faith, ready for hands-on ministry in the local church and other settings. Whether you're preparing for professional ministry or are planning to transfer classes to the University of Saskatchewan or to go on to another vocation, it's essential to us that each student at Horizon more intimately develops her or his personal relationship with God. More specifically, though, our aim is to prepare you to live out that relationship concretely, practicing real-life, hands-on Christianity.

The French have an expression, “mangez bien, riez souvent, aimez beaucoup,” which translates: “Eat well, laugh often, love much.” And this is something we want to invite you to do with us!

On Tuesday, April 25 in Winnipeg, we are hosting a supper get-together for alumni and friends of Horizon, followed by a night of comedy with Christian comic Leland Klassen.

Supper is at 5:30pm for a nominal cost of $20 per person.

The comedy show begins at 7:00pm and there is no charge.

Please join us at Immanuel Pentecostal Church for both events – and bring friends!
We will take a free-will offering aiming to raise $60,000.00 for the ministry at Horizon College.
