What makes Horizon different?

Horizon College & Seminary is dedicated to preparing competent Christian leaders. Located in Saskatoon, one of Canada’s fastest growing cities, Horizon offers degree programs in Pastoral Leadership and Christian Studies. More than 78% of our graduates are serving in a ministry position.

Horizon College & Seminary

Our goal and focus at Horizon is to prepare leaders for Christian life and ministry, whether that ministry be volunteer or professional. We aim to make our students better and more reflective thinkers about God and about Christian responsibility in our world. We aim to equip our students to be skilled practitioners of the Christian faith, ready for hands-on ministry in the local church and other settings. Whether you're preparing for professional ministry or are planning to transfer classes to the University of Saskatchewan or to go on to another vocation, it's essential to us that each student at Horizon more intimately develops her or his personal relationship with God. More specifically, though, our aim is to prepare you to live out that relationship concretely, practicing real-life, hands-on Christianity.

We are hoping to give the college just a little more curb appeal this summer, so we are looking for donations of plants and flowers for our front garden. If you have some lying around or if you are interested in making a donation, give us a call at 306.374.6655 or email us at info@horizon.edu to find out exactly what we need!

Thank you, we appreciate it.

It's been awhile but it's time for another Horizon Story. This week we are featuring Vicente, a student from Mississauga, Ontario.

As we approached our annual fundraiser in Saskatoon, we wanted to show you the students you have been and will be supporting, both financially and prayerfully.

We would love it if you could join us at our fundraiser on June 13th at the Berry Barn. You will have an opportunity to hear about how God is working in our college and in our community while enjoying food, friends, and entertainment.

This summer we would love to give the college some curb appeal, so we were wondering if any of you avid gardeners out there have some extra plants lying around that you’d like to donate. If you don’t have any extras but would still like to donate plants or funds, send us an email at info@horizon.edu or give us a call at 306.374.6655, and we can tell you exactly what we’re looking for!

Thanks everyone! We appreciate your support.

Over the next few weeks we are going to be featuring short clips of our students. Each will share briefly about their experience at Horizon.

As we get closer to our annual fundraisers, we really want to show you how God is at work in our school and in the community. We want to give you a glimpse of the students you are supporting, both prayerfully and financially. Your contributions help make a difference in the lives of each of our students and for that we want to thank you!

If you are interested in finding out more about our college or becoming a regular supporter, email us at info@horizon.edu.
